4 Great Reasons To Incorporate Half Fish Pose into Your Yoga Routine
Half Fish Pose- Ardha Matsyendrasana It is named after Matsyendra, a legendary yoga master from India from around the tenth century.
This asana is one of my favorites. Anytime I do a routine I love to incorporate the Half Fish Pose. It is rare that I do any yoga routine without it. It is an excellent pose to energize the spine and digestion. Kundalini practitioners and teachers use the Half Fish Pose routinely as it is said to awaken the Kundalini energy in the spine. Practicing this twist will bring many other benefits to your body, mind, and spirit and our modern Yoga instructors love to teach this pose as it is an excellent twist that helps the body with the following:
• This pose helps to stretch the Shoulders, Neck, and Back

• Digestion and Metabolism are stimulated by this pose
