Get in Rhythm with Tuning Forks
Tuning Fork Therapy
Tuning Forks aren’t all about music! They can also be therapeutic. Tuning Forks can be used as a non-invasive acoustic therapy that balances the energetic centers or Chakras of the body. By moving along our Chakra centers with the correct sound frequency or note, the elicit tone enhances and “tunes” our own natural rhythmic patterns to restore our most balanced and harmonious state of being.
In using Tuning Forks specific for each energy center the vibrational frequency aids in moving blocked and stuck energy, therefore, increasing our natural energy flow. As a total result, Tuning Fork Therapy has been known to help reduce pain, increase circulation, balance mood, and increase energy.
The Yama Yoga Store now has its own category for Chakra Tuning Forks. Each one is color-coded and tuned specifically to the exact frequency for that particular Chakra. This is significant because this goes deeper than a universal pitch. Each fork is designed with a pinpointed vibration that directly affects specific areas you need to work on physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Whether or not you are working on yourself or a client now you have the opportunity to work direct. You can balance each energy center individually to bring the person to a valuable place ...” unstuck” with energy flowing as it should!
One of the best things I find about Tuning Forks or any sound therapy is that sound therapy helps us realize what energy is and how to sense it. The awareness of Chakra Energy is a game-changer for most people. This awareness can help you understand and notice subtle energy and subtle energy shifts in the body and in your environment. Our Chakras radiate out as well as receive the energies of our environment, from other people, animals, and even objects. Gaining awareness of that process protects us and helps us to move forward.
More and more practitioners are using tuning forks as a standard way of balancing a person’s energy centers. In my current work, it is a great way to start a session in Reiki or Massage to balance and relax the person and to generate a positive start to the healing process.
